Jennifer AbubakaNgyan and her husband Harris have been together for eight years. They will be tying the knot for the second time in one of the luxurious hotels in Gambia. The ceremony will be witnessed the their three boys, ages 7, 5 and 2. A private party has been arranged for the occasion, followed by a two-week second honeymoon.
Jennifer Abubakar met Harris Ngyan when she came to one of his hotels to take on a designing assignment. Her art fueled most of the creativity in the design. It only shows the innateness of the National Awardee characteristic. She can be considered a revolutionary of the textile industry. She Is pushing for the fair trade production of luxury fabrics within her own community. Not only does it stimulate employment among locals, it also places the region in the economic map. An estimate of 500 job openings to corrupt idleness will be available to native residents when the factory opens in October. Due to this initiative, she is up for another award.
The utter absence of corruption in her sturdy principles, her unimpaired idealism on hope for her brothers and sisters by flag, Jennifer truly deserves a wide recognition, not only in her town but throughout the world.
